Dr. Blaskovich speaks English, Croatian, and Dutch. He is a licensed chiropractor and podiatrist with international work experience in chiropractic, injury-evaluation, radiology, podiatry, orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports medicine, occupational health and medical teaching.
Dr. Blaskovich focuses on the assessment of patients with whiplash associated injuries using the latest functional diagnostic technology, namely motion x-ray, to quantify the extent of biomechanical ligament injury.
Dr Blaskovich utilizes chiropractic and several soft-tissue treatment modalities including Trigger Points, Nimmo Receptor-Tonus Technique, and Myofascial Release Technique. Additionally, he uses podiatric treatments for gait related abnormalities. He also provides physical capacity evaluations in an effort to determine restrictions and limitations as it pertains to trauma related injuries.
Dr. Blaskovich has been engaged in providing injury-related independent medical examinations, independent review of radiographic and MRI imaging, and medical-legal report writing. He has been deposed and has had courtroom experience as well.
Licensed in British Columbia, Canada and Washington state, USA, Dr. Blaskovich has set up several multi-doctor clinics and has extensive leadership experience. He has successfully collaborated with diverse health care groups to develop innovative health care diagnostic and rehabilitative solutions.
Dr. Blaskovich regularly pursues continuing education in Canada, the U.S. and internationally.
Based on his extensive experience, Dr. Blaskovich has derived an excellent understanding of the standards of care relating to auto, sport, and work injury.
As a result of his extensive experience and understanding, he is regularly presented with difficult cases where an injury is suspected, but has not been found. Dr. Blaskovich collects and evaluates all imaging and evaluations, determines if additional imaging/testing needs to be preformed, and carefully disects all the available information.
